The Kitecenter Cumbuco Kiteline starts in 2003 on the areas of the restaurant “Velas do Cumbuco”.

For your comfort, Kitecenter Cumbuco is equiped with an air compressor for a fast filling of tubes. There is also a grassed area to clean the equipment with water, to hang it to dry and to pack it away without of sand. Our personnel will help with the set up, launching, as well as landing, washing and packing up. And most of all, they will observe you and rescue yourself or your Kitesurf equpiment. There are lockers available for small bags. We also provide a storage service for larger equipment storage needs.

The majority of our equipment is for lessons purposes, but we also rent boards and tube kites from 4m2 to 16m2 and boards from 111 cm to 159 cm. If you need other materials such as lycrashirts, lines or pumps, we have them available for sale in the Kiteline shop. New Kites we have only when they are pre-orderedm it takes normaly two days to get them.

Besides kitesurfing, there are other options to fill your sport and leasure needs: sandboard, make a Buggytur to the dunes, or the traditional sailing in a Jangada, a typical fisherman boat from Ceará.

Daily Downwind

You may choose to kite downwind to the Cauipe Lagoon. It’s around 5 km downwind from the Kitecenter, directly on the coastline. A great day of kiting starting with the calm waves by the Kitecenter, surfing bigger waves on the way to the lagoon and then and once in the lagoon, kite on its flat and shallow waters. At a previously agreed time we will pick you at the lagoon meeting point and bring you back to the Kitecenter, where you can relax or linger on our terrace, while appreciating the fantastic sunset.

The downwind can be guided by a kiteinstructor on the water or by a car on the beach to give more safety. A downwind is also possible to the West of the Kitecenter. We will bring you upwind by car and you can downwind back to the Kitecenter.

Ambience

The Kitecenter is in the restaurant “Velas do Cumbuco - Sunset Beach Club”. Kitesurfers can enjoy all the facilities and amenities from the restaurant. Besides the exquisite food, other services available are: massage, snooker, tip-kick and swimming pools, a playground and a lounge back area.
